New wedding venue at Palisades Tahoe

June 19, 2025 By Jeffrey Weidel

There are many cool wedding locations in the Lake Tahoe region. And add one more to the list – Palisades Tahoe.

The Alpine Landing wedding venue features a spacious, open-air setting with rustic-modern finishes, native landscaping, and panoramic views of the dramatic terrain.

Palisades Tahoe is launching a new wedding venue this summer, called The Alpine Landing. The Tahoe ski resort will be hosting a special event Sunday, July 27 called Alpine Ever After – a group elopement and vow renewal celebration. The wedding venue is a stunningly beautiful location in the Alpine base area of Palisades Tahoe.

Palisades Tahoe will debut its new wedding ceremony venue in late July. After the event, the resort invites couples to be among the first to exchange vows, whether for the first time or all over again.

Tucked at the base of the mountains with sweeping views of the surrounding peaks, The Alpine Landing was designed as a serene, scenic ceremony site that blends the natural beauty of the Sierra Nevada with elegant alpine charm.

The venue features a spacious, open-air setting with rustic-modern finishes, native landscaping, and panoramic views of the dramatic terrain. Ideal for intimate gatherings and memorable milestones, The Alpine Landing is now available for private weddings, elopements, and special events throughout the year.

EVENT DETAILS

Date: Sunday, July 27
Time: Ceremony at 4 pm| Reception from 4:30 to 5 pm

Western States is an extremely difficult 100-mile run that starts at Palisades Tahoe and ends in Auburn.

RUNNING EVENTS: Palisades Tahoe will be involved with three iconic trail running events taking place this summer on the mountain in June.

The 10-day lineup includes:

  • Broken Arrow Skyrace presented by Salomon (June 19–22): This four-day mountain running festival features nine race distances, ranging from a vertical kilometer to a 52K ultra.

Designed to challenge both elite and recreational runners, the courses traverse technical ridgelines, snowfields, and summit trails offering breathtaking views of Lake Tahoe and the Sierra.

  • TrailCon (June 24–25): This is a trail running festival with panels and activations focused on the most pressing educational and inspirational topics in the sport. It is attended by stakeholders from the entire community, including brands, athletes and fans.
  • Western States (June 28–29): The world’s oldest and most prestigious 100-mile trail race, Western States begins in Olympic Valley and follows an extremely rugged course through the Sierra Nevada to Placer High School in Auburn.

BLUES DAYS: The 16th summer of Bluesdays in the Village at Palisades Tahoe returns in June as Lake Tahoe’s summer music series.

The free, family-friendly concerts have become a summertime staple in Palisades Tahoe and will take place every Tuesday from June 24 through August 26 in the Events Plaza from 6 to 8:30 pm. Participating musicians in the summer’s line-up include a returning list of legends and locals including The Blues Monsters.

Bluesdays features an outdoor Blues bar with beer, wine, and spirits in partnership with Tremigo Mexican Kitchen & Deschutes Brewery.
