There’s no more skiing this season in Lake Tahoe. However, ski season is not done yet, thanks to four U.S. resorts, including one in California.

While most winter sports enthusiasts have traded in their skis or snowboards for bikes, these U.S. ski resorts are keeping the dream of a never-ending winter alive.
MAMMOTH MOUNTAIN, CALIFONIA
Anticipating a Memorial Day closing this season, instead Mammoth Mountain is still holding on to winter, the latest announced closing now June 15. Chair 23 at Mammoth is still accessing some good high-altitude terrain.
However, it’s not just about skiing and riding. Mammoth is also offering a trifecta – skiing, biking, and golfing, all in the same day. Get your laps in early before hitting the bike park and then visiting the links. Talk about a perfect day!!

TIMBERLINE LODGE, OREGON

A-Basin is keeping the party atmosphere going for two more weekends. This is the last chance to experience the quintessential spring scene at what some call “The Legend.”
The vibe is high, the snow is soft, and the infamous pond skim spot – Lake Reveal – is officially open for business. It’s going to be a classic Colorado closing couple of weekends.

Last year, Beartooth couldn’t open due to low snow, but this season the resort is back and running lifts into early July. Note that tickets are limited to 100 skiers a day and sell out fast.
