Numerous spring skiing deals at Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows

March 26, 2014 By Jeffrey Weidel

Spring skiing is a tradition at Lake Tahoe ski resorts, where the sun is shining brightly, corn snow is prevalent, and both skiers and snowboarders are shedding clothing and enjoying their time on and off the slopes.Alpine Spring skiing, girl low top

Both Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows ski resorts are offering a host of great spring skiing deals for skiers and riders looking to have fun over the remainder of the season.

The resorts will be offering $10 off lift tickets for those in theme costumes, discounted lift tickets for other resort passholders, and free spring skiing and snowboarding for 2014-15 season passholders.

Free Spring with purchase of next year’s season pass
Guests can ski and ride for free this spring at Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows with the purchase of a 2014-15 TahoeSuperPass, which starts at $349 (limited quantities available). Passes also include free access to Squaw’s mountaintop hot tub.

Tahoe Super Passes can be purchased at www.tahoesuperpass.com or by phone at 800-403-0206.

$10 off lift tickets for costume dressers
Every Saturday and Sunday during  spring skiing, skiers and riders can get creative and save $10 off lift tickets by dressing up in the weekend’s theme.Squaw, skier in Hawaiian shirt

Head to Squaw’s mountaintop hot tub at High Camp for the corresponding theme party every Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Hot Tub access is free for passholders and $10 for non-passholders.

Weekend Themes

  • March 29-30: Flashback to the ‘80s
  • April 5-6: Superheroes
  • April 12-13: All American Weekend
  • April 19-20: Fans decide! Starting April 14, fans vote for favorite theme on Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows Facebook pages

$50 lift tickets for other resort season passholders

Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows are offering $50 lift tickets to season passholders of any other ski resort through the end of the season, with no blackout dates. To redeem the discount, skiers and riders must present their season pass to another resort at any ticket window.

Mountaintop hot tub
Squaw Valley’s mountaintop hot tub, located at High Camp (elevation 8,200) is now open to the public for the spring skiing season. Both 2013-14 and 2014-15 season passholders receive free access to the hot tub as part of their season pass benefits. For all others, admission is just $10.Squaw hot tub, girls

Spring Music Series at Alpine Meadows
