Mt. Rose offering unique season pass

February 21, 2019 By Jeffrey Weidel

Mt Rose ski resort is offering a unique season pass deal that will be good for the remainder of this season and all of the 2019-20 season.

Located In Nevada off the Mt. Roseville Highway near Incline Village in North Lake Tahoe, Mt. Rose is currently offering what it calls the ‘Double Down’ season pass.

With the highest base area elevation (8,260 feet) among Tahoe ski resorts, Mt. Rose traditionally gets big snow totals each year. The resort has approximately 360 inches year to date (Feb. 20).

The season pass is unique to Tahoe ski resorts and includes skiing and snowboarding the remainder of this season and all of next season. Prices start at $495 for adults and $245 for children.

Mt. Rose is located 25 minutes from Reno and has been making a name for itself in recent years by offering at least a six-month long ski season. The resort expects to run its lifts late again this year after receiving more than 80 inches of snowfall over the past week.

“The Double Down is the absolute best value on a Mt. Rose season pass, essentially offering access to two seasons for the price of one,” said Mike Pierce, director of marketing at Mt. Rose. “And with the incredible conditions we have had so far this year, it’s likely we’re on track for another six-plus month-long season. There’s quite a bit of skiing and riding still ahead of us.”

The Double Down season pass comes fully loaded with value-saving perks at the resort. It can also be purchased on a payment plan with the first half due at the time of purchase and the second payment due Monday, April 1, 2019.
