Diamond Peak ski resort offering discount season passes

April 26, 2022 By admin

Fresh snow piled up several feet high at Tahoe ski resorts last week. However, sadly the 2021-22 ski season had already ended for most resorts.

Diamond Peak ski resort has arguably the best scenic views of the nearby lake of all the Tahoe ski resorts.

This season is over for all but two Tahoe ski resorts – Palisades Tahoe, Kirkwood. Yet it’s not too early to consider purchasing a season pass for next year.

Diamond Peak ski resort is currently offering 2022-23 Early-Bird rates for passholders that provide great savings.

Note that Diamond Peak season passes are on sale now at the resort’s online store. But don’t wait too long because pass prices go up May 1.

IVGID Picture Pass holders receive discounted season pass rates as well. See pricing at the online store.

Diamond Peak is located in Incline Village, Nev., a few miles from North Lake Tahoe. The resort is known for its intimate setting and small crowds, especially during week days.

Current Season Pass Prices

  • Adult (ages 24-64): $444
  • Youth (13-23): $344
  • Child (7-12): $204
  • Senior (65-69): $414
  • Super Senior (70-79): $164
  • 6-Under, 80-plus: Free

Diamond Peak offers its “Peak Pledge,” a no-hassle refund policy on unused passes. If skiers or riders don’t use their pass for any reason, a refund request by Jan. 15, 2023 will result in money back – no questions asked. There is a $25 processing fee that will be applied for each pass refunded.

SKIP TICKET LINE: It’s never fun to wait in a lift ticket line when the snow conditions are incredible or it’s a busy weekend. All passholders can go directly to the lifts at Diamond Peak.

CREATIVE TERRAIN PARKS: The Village Terrain Park has become one of Tahoe’s most respected parks for progressing an individual’s skiing and riding. Plans are in the works for more additions next season.

Diamond Peak offers lots of terrain variety, including some inviting runs in the trees.

LOCAL OWNERSHIP & SUSTAINABILITY: Diamond Peak is the only community-owned ski resort in the Tahoe Basin, and has been recognized for its sustainability initiatives as the first ski resort in Tahoe to become STOKE Certified.

As one of the early adopters of the STOKE Snow sustainability certification program, the resort has been diligently following a Certified’s Roadmap Report to achieve best practices in snowmaking, interpretation, waste diversion, and community development.
