$99 lift tickets at Sugar Bowl

November 5, 2019 By Jeffrey Weidel

Sugar Bowl ski resort in the Lake Tahoe region will offer $99 lift tickets in December.

In a press release, Sugar Bowl noted “in an effort to make skiing and snowboarding more accessible to skiing families and winter sports enthusiasts this season, Sugar Bowl is introducing new lift ticket and equipment rental specials in advance of the 2019-20 winter season.”

This year, when purchased online at least two days in advance, adult all-day lift tickets are $99 any day in December, including weekends and holidays.

This year, when purchased online at least two days in advance, adult all-day lift tickets are $99 any day in December, including weekends and holidays. Youth and senior lift ticket prices are $79, and children ages 5-12 are $49. Skiers and snowboarders can also take advantage of affordable ski and snowboard rentals all season long.

Located on Donner Summit, Sugar Bowl offers the closest skiing to Sacramento and the Bay Area and is easily accessible from Interstate-80 at the Norden exit.

“Our intention is to offer tremendous value to skiing families and winter recreationalists,” said Jon Slaughter, executive director of marketing and sales at Sugar Bowl Resort. “The new lift ticket specials we’ve introduced for December make it possible for a family of four to ski or ride for under $300. Not only does that equate to huge savings as compared to what skiers will find at other major resorts, but our guests get tremendous value in other ways such as less driving, less traffic and enjoying uncrowded slopes when they arrive.”

In addition to Sugar Bowl’s December lift ticket special, skiers and snowboarders can save with other deals this season including:

$49 Any Day Child Lift Tickets: When purchased online at least two days in advance, children ages 5-12 can ski or ride for just $49 all season long, including weekends and holidays.

$44 Rental Ski Package Deal: Adults in need of rental equipment can get new rental skis for just $44. When purchased online at least two days in advance, guests enjoy an additional 15-percent off. This offer can be used any day of the season, including weekends and holidays.

Ski All Season Starting at $379: Resort guests interested in skiing or riding all season long can purchase a season pass until Oct. 31, 2019, with rates as low as $379. Guests who purchase an Unrestricted Season Pass also receive three days of access at 18 other resorts around the world thanks to the Powder Alliance.

Discounted Lift Ticket 3-Packs: For those who want to ski or ride any three days of the season and save, lift ticket 3-packs go on sale in November.

To make visiting Sugar Bowl easy from start to finish the resort’s all new e-commerce platform gives guests access to a new mobile-friendly site that will make it easy to plan and book their trips to Sugar Bowl, buy season passes, purchase lift tickets, ski school lessons, rentals and more, ensuring the experience is seamless once guests are on-site at the resort.
