Looking for something to do in the Lake Tahoe region over the Fourth of July holiday?

Tahoe Donner, located in Truckee, provides an option. Tahoe’s largest resort community is holding the 14th annual Summer Concert on the Green on July 3-4, featuring two nights of live performances by top tribute bands.
Summer Concert on the Green is an outdoor, family-friendly event held on the Tahoe Donner golf course driving range, located adjacent to the Trout Creek Recreation Center. Concert attendees may bring their own picnic items and low-back lawn chairs. The Food Truck Zone will offer menu options from local vendors. Dogs are not allowed.
On Friday, July 3, the kick-off party features New Wave Crave, Northern Nevada’s premier 1980s cover band, which plays favorite songs from this iconic era by Madonna, The B-52’s, Cindy Lauper, The Cure, and many more. Also featured that night is the Pop Rocks, an international traveling rock band that plays some of pop music’s greatest hits.
One night later on Fourth of July, listen to the Buddy Emmers Blues Band, whose musical styles include a variety of blues hits from the 1930s through today. The headliner is Journey Revisited, a cover band that plays many of the group’s greatest hits.
Gates open for general admission at 4:30 pm both nights, with live music going from 6-10 pm. Tickets can be purchased online and are on sale now and expected to sell out.
