Sugar Bowl, a Lake Tahoe-area ski resort, is hiring workers for the 2021-22 season.
Starting Wednesday, Sept. 22, Sugar Bowl will have four virtual hiring events and two in-person events at the resort (see the hiring days below).
Sugar Bowl and Royal Gorge, its cross-country ski resort that’s within close proximity, offer winter seasonal jobs that are ideal in combing work and play (skiing or snowboarding). There are typically breaks every day designed for employees to get in some skiing and riding, which ultimately means 100 days in the snow.
Sugar Bowl offers highly-coveted year-round opportunities that include medical, dental and vision insurance, paid time off, holiday pay and more.
The resort is a small, independent company owned by those who love the Sugar Bowl village lifestyle.
Employees receive a 50-percent discount on food and beverages. They are also able to give $20 lift ticket vouchers to friends.
SEASONAL HOUSING: The ski resort knows how difficult it is to find suitable housing in its highly-desirable location, Sugar Bowl has nearly 150 beds available for its seasonal employees and additional units for year-round managers, supervisors and those who hold key resort positions. Most of the units are dorm-style with shared facilities.
