February 28, 2014 By Jeffrey Weidel

Another winter storm has descended on the Lake Tahoe region, dropping sizable amounts of snow at area ski resorts.Heavenly scenic view, snowy day

The storm arrived on Wednesday and continued throughout today (Feb. 27). According to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), today’s storm is the first of a three-storm series expected to hit the region through Sunday.

Here’s a look at what several Lake Tahoe ski resorts are reporting.

Alpine Meadows, Squaw Valley

The winter storm sweeping through the Sierra Nevada has brought 13 inches of fresh snow to Squaw Valley and 10 inches to Alpine Meadows by this afternoon, And more good news: the snow continues to fall at both resorts.

Skiers and snowboarders looking to take full advantage of the fresh snow can purchase the Tahoe Super 4 Pack. The 4 Pack offers four unrestricted days of skiing and riding anytime this season for less than $88 a day for adults, $75 for young adults and seniors, and $50 for kids.
