Diamond Peak ski resort offering plenty of reasons to ski in March

Spring skiing and snowboarding has definitely arrived in Lake Tahoe. And Diamond Peak ski resort is offering plenty of activities the remainder of March – both on and off the slopes.

Diamond Peak ski resort  is known as an affordable, family-friendly resort that offers breathtaking views of Lake Tahoe, a summit elevation of 8,540-feet, and a 1,840-foot vertical drop.

March 15: Go Green & St. Patty’s celebration is committed to helping keep Tahoe beautiful and encourages guests to do their part too!

Waste Not, Sustainable Tahoe and other local sustainability clubs will be joining forces and putting on Go Green day on Saturday. There will be games, educational activities, art displays, face painting and more. For information, visit http://www.diamondpeak.com/events/details/go-green

March 14, 21 & 28: Face/Off Friday Rail Jams kick takes place every Friday by throwing down your best tricks on the features (located at the bottom of Lodgepole (near the Base Lodge Deck) for a chance to win prizes or just join in the fun.

Happy Hour drink specials start at 2 pm for Face-Off Fridays. Registration is $10 and a lift ticket is not required, but a competition waiver is. Thrive Snowboards is sponsoring the final Face/Off Friday on March 28th to kick off their Thrive Tahoe event.Diamond_Peak powder day

March 28: A very merry UnBirthday. Birthdays only come around once a year so we allow all of our guests to ski for free on their birthday!

But for those with birthdays that fall outside the ski season we celebrate UnBirthday Day!

March 29: Wear your undies March 29 for Undy Ski Day. Diamond Peak is partnering with the Incline Village Community Hospital, the Colon Cancer Alliance, and Nature’s Bakery to put on Undy Ski Day in honor of Colon Cancer Awareness Month.

There will be special lift ticket deals, Zumba, live music on the deck, and an Undy ski flash mob. Lift tickets are $35 for participants sporting their undies! For information, visit http://www.diamondpeak.com/events/details/undy-ski-day
