Diamond Peak ski resort offering discount season passes

Diamond Peak ski resort in Lake Tahoe is offering a good deal for season passes for the 2014-15 season.

Adult season passes are going for $349 for a full-time pass. The Early Bird Rates run from July 1 to Oct. 31.Diamond_Peak powder day 800

Diamond Peak is an affordable, family-friendly resort that offers breathtaking views of Lake Tahoe, a summit elevation of 8,540-feet and a 1,840-foot vertical drop. Skiers and boarders can experience 655 acres of beginner to advanced terrain that includes open glades.

Located in scenic Incline Village, Diamond Peak offers beautiful views while skiing and riding, convenient parking, and no blackout days with a full season pass. College passes starting at $159 are available for students taking 12 or more units this fall semester. Kids ages 6 & under and adults ages 80-plus always ski free.

The 2014-15 Diamond Peak season pass perks include four non-holiday days of skiing or riding at Homewood Mountain Resort and four non-holiday days at Red Lodge Mountain Resort in Montana.

Diamond Peak 2013-14 and 2014-15 season pass holders also receive 25 percent off bike, kayak, and paddleboard rentals at Homewood during the 2014 summer season. For details and reservations please email rentals@skihomewood.com or call 530 584-6856.

Other perks include the opportunity to rent a season locker, Diamond Peak season pass holder events, and additional discounts may be added later. DiamondPeak season passes are available to buy online at www.DiamondPeak.com, at the Diamond Peak Administration Office (Monday-Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.), and the InclineVillageRecreationCenter (Monday-Saturday 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.).

Adult (24-64): $349////$249

Youth (13-23), College students: $199////$159

Children (7-12) Seniors (65-69): $139////$125

Super Senior (70-79): $59/////$49

Children 6 & under, Seniors 80-plus: Free
